Job Description
Job Title: Chief Operations Officer

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Acorns International School is hiring a Chief Operations Officer will oversee the operational, administrative, and marketing functions of Acorns International Schools, ensuring seamless management across multiple campuses. This role focuses on strategic planning, resource optimization, and project management to support the institution’s growth and operational efficiency.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and support academic goals.
Oversee campus operations, including facilities management, logistics, and safety protocols.
Lead marketing initiatives to promote the school’s brand and increase enrollment.
Manage budgets, procurement, and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability.
Drive strategic planning processes, aligning operations with the institution’s vision and objectives.
Spearhead project management for campus expansions, renovations, or new initiatives.
Foster collaboration across departments to ensure cohesive operations and communication.
Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to operational systems.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Marketing, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in operations, marketing, or school administration roles.
Experience in an educational institution or multi-campus environment is an advantage.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and project management.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage complex operations.
Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management.
Proficiency in marketing strategies and brand development.
Exceptional project management skills with a track record of successful execution.
