Job Description
Our client, a fast-growing mid-sized freight forwarding company in Nairobi, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will take full operational responsibility, professionalize processes, and drive the next phase of growth for the company. The role involves leading seven key departments and ensuring significant revenue growth and enhanced client experience.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead all 7 departments i.e., the sales department, the customer service department, the transport department, the marketing department, the call centre department, the warehouse department and the operations department.
- Deliver 20 to 30% year-on-year revenue growth while optimizing profitability.
- Enhance client experience – especially faster resolutions of delays, breakages and claims.
- Oversee air freight, sea containers, warehousing, transport, and customs clearance.
- Build strong global partnerships and implement technology for better tracking and efficiency.
