Accounting Operations & Compliance

• Execute assigned accounting functions and projects.

• Monitor and ensure adherence to Accounting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Ensure compliance with financial laws and fraud prevention policies.

• Reconcile general ledgers and balance credit card transactions.

• Review contracts and conduct credit reference checks for group billing as needed.

• Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports and analysis.

Financial Planning & Reporting

• Set and achieve financial performance goals in alignment with organizational targets.

• Monitor budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.

• Submit required reports within deadlines, ensuring accurate profit/loss documentation.

• Oversee tax compliance, ensuring timely collection, reporting, and accruals.

• Conduct month-end and period-end closing procedures.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets.

• Provide financial guidance to other departments on budgeting and accounting policies.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.

Accounting Knowledge & Systems

• Apply in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and reporting systems.

• Maintain familiarity with procedures related to returned checks, consolidated deposits, write-offs, and gross revenue reporting.

• Use accounting software and systems effectively to manage data and produce reports.

• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards.

Team Leadership & Development

People Management

• Lead, train, and develop accounting team members.

• Conduct interviews, performance appraisals, and implement development plans.

• Promote a productive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment.

• Enforce deadlines, delegate responsibilities, and monitor team performance.

HR Responsibilities

• Apply progressive discipline and ensure workplace safety and compliance.

• Track attendance and manage timekeeping records.

• Support supervisory development and succession planning.
