Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing a structured accounting system tailored to the organization’s needs, ensuring strict adherence to financial regulations and internal control frameworks. They will manage budgeting, reporting, financial reconciliations, and preparation of timely and accurate financial statements. The role requires someone with a solid banking background and immediate availability to assume duties.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design and implement a fit-for-purpose accounting system.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and organizational internal controls.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
Manage day-to-day financial operations including budgeting, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations.
Provide professional guidance on financial best practices.
Leverage ERP systems and accounting tools to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education and Certification:
Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent certification).
Experience:

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
Detail-oriented with high levels of integrity and professionalism.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to resume immediately.
