Job Description
The Channel Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of PalmPay’s POS and card payment channels. The role supports smooth transaction processing, resolves channel-related issues, and works closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver a reliable payment experience for customers and merchants.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure the availability, stability, and reliability of POS and card payment channels
- Support daily production operations and transaction processing systems
- Investigate and resolve system downtimes, transaction failures, and channel disruptions
- Provide technical support for transaction-related and settlement issues
- Proactively monitor transactions and systems to identify and address potential issues
- Analyse application and transaction logs to diagnose and resolve incidents
- Liaise with switching partners and service providers for prompt issue resolution
- Track, document, and report channel incidents and downtime
- Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to improve system performance and customer experience
