Job Description
As a Central Support Supervisor at Al Baraka Bank, you will manage a range of operational and support functions across the bank’s departments. Your role will involve ensuring correct and timely bank statement allocations, coordinating attorney trust saver requests, supporting deposit and wealth functions, handling audit confirmations, and overseeing the drafting and implementation of procedures. You will also manage reporting functions for executive committees, supervise departmental staff, and participate in system testing and project management for the central support department.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate bank statement and dynamic file allocations
Manage attorney trust saver activities within delegated authority
Provide deposit and non-funding support to Branches, SME, and Corporate divisions
Assist with operational risk control and resolution of audit findings
Support the Wealth Division in administration and reporting
Coordinate and process audit and bank confirmation requests
Maintain and manage procedure documentation through assigned resources
Supervise central payments requests and ensure procedural compliance
Prepare and submit accurate reports to EXCO and other executive bodies
Participate in departmental projects and ensure effective testing of systems
Supervise staff, manage leave balances, backups, and annual PDP objectives
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking or operational roles
Knowledge and Competencies:
Strong understanding of banking systems and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with bank policies and automation processes
Expertise in allocations and relationship management
Ability to manage procedures and drive compliance
Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills
