Job Description
The Cashier will be responsible for handling financial transactions, managing cash operations, supporting customer payments, and ensuring accuracy and accountability in daily financial activities. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who possess strong numerical skills, integrity, and a willingness to learn.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer payments including cash, cheque, and digital transactions.
- Issue receipts for payments and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Maintain accurate daily cash records, reconcile balances, and prepare end-of-day summaries.
- Ensure safe custody of cash, receipts, and other financial instruments.
- Support customer inquiries related to payments, balances, and billing.
- Assist in maintaining financial records, filing documents, and updating transaction logs.
- Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and internal controls.
- Report any discrepancies, shortages, or irregularities to supervisors promptly.
- Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service at all times.
- Perform any other cashier or finance-related duties as assigned.
