Job Description
The Cashier will be responsible for handling daily financial transactions, receiving and disbursing cash, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper cash management procedures are followed. The role requires a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive and process cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan repayments.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Balance cash at the end of each day and prepare daily cash reports.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and receipts.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure safe custody of cash and other financial instruments.
- Support internal controls and comply with company financial policies.
- Report any discrepancies or irregularities immediately to management.
