Job Description
The Business Development Manager will lead efforts to identify new business opportunities in the real estate sector, manage client acquisition and retention, and promote the company’s real estate projects. The role requires deep knowledge of the local property market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with investors, clients, and key stakeholders. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing proposals, financial models, and performance reports to support business growth.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy
Identify and pursue new business opportunities including land acquisitions, property sales, and joint ventures.
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and customer preferences.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and partners.
Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.
Organize property viewings, presentations, and negotiations.
Marketing & Brand Positioning
Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns targeting high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
Represent the company at property exhibitions, industry forums, and networking events.
Financial & Contract Management
Prepare proposals, presentations, and financial models.
Negotiate terms of agreements and oversee contractual documentation.
Ensure compliance with real estate regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
Maintain accurate records of business development activities.
Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
5–10 years of experience in real estate sales, business development, or property consulting.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
In-depth knowledge of Enugu and FCT property market trends and regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker, self-motivated, and result-driven.

Salary Range
₦200,000 – ₦300,000 per month + performance-based commission and incentives
