Job Description
The Brand and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies that align with the company’s brand goals. This role demands deep expertise in brand positioning, consumer behavior analysis, creative design, and digital marketing. The manager will coordinate cross-functional marketing activities, oversee brand consistency across campaigns, manage external partners like advertising agencies, and mentor junior marketing staff. Additionally, the role requires a proactive approach to performance monitoring using key performance indicators (KPIs), planning promotional events, organizing product launches, and developing compelling marketing content. The ideal candidate is innovative, data-driven, and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced business environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies and campaigns
Position the brand for growth by analyzing competitor trends and consumer behavior
Drive brand identity and ensure consistent tone, look, and feel across all platforms
Monitor brand performance using KPIs and implement improvement strategies
Plan and execute product launches and promotional events
Lead creative workflows from concept to delivery across various media
Manage and mentor marketing executives
Collaborate with advertising agencies to run marketing campaigns
Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve brand objectives
Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively
Train and empower marketing team members for growth and succession
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
HND/BSc in Marketing or any other relevant field
5–10 years of experience as a Brand and Marketing Manager, preferably in the FMCG sector
Professional certification in marketing is an added advantage
Strong skills in marketing strategy, graphic design, data analysis, and digital marketing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent project management and communication skills
Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver results
