Designing and Developing Instrumentation Systems: Instrumentation Engineers design, develop, and implement instrumentation systems used for measuring, monitoring, and controlling various parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level. They may design instruments, sensors, and control systems to meet specific requirements and standards.
Selecting and Sourcing Instruments: Instrumentation Engineers select appropriate instruments and equipment based on project requirements, technical specifications, and budget constraints. They evaluate different options, conduct vendor assessments, and negotiate contracts for instrument procurement.
Installation and Commissioning: Instrumentation Engineers oversee the installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation systems and equipment. They ensure that instruments are properly installed, configured, and calibrated to meet performance standards and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Instrumentation Engineers troubleshoot and diagnose problems with instrumentation systems, equipment, and processes. They perform regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Instrumentation Engineers analyze data collected from instrumentation systems to assess performance, identify trends, and troubleshoot issues. They interpret data to make recommendations for process improvements, optimization, and efficiency gains.
Collaboration and Communication: Instrumentation Engineers collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project teams, and stakeholders to integrate instrumentation systems with overall project designs and objectives. They communicate technical information, requirements, and recommendations effectively to ensure alignment and coordination.
Regulatory Compliance: Instrumentation Engineers ensure that instrumentation systems and processes comply with regulatory standards, codes, and guidelines. They stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to safety, environmental protection, and quality management.
Documentation and Reporting: Instrumentation Engineers maintain accurate documentation, drawings, and records of instrumentation systems, equipment, and activities. They prepare reports, technical specifications, and documentation for project documentation, regulatory compliance, and knowledge sharing.
Training and Support: Instrumentation Engineers provide training and support to operations and maintenance teams on the use, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems and equipment. They transfer knowledge and skills to ensure proper operation and handling of instruments.
Continuous Improvement: Instrumentation Engineers participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance instrumentation systems, processes, and performance. They identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, and cost reduction to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.

BSC. Instrumentation or Electronics
Higher Diploma in Instrumentation and control/Electronics.
Experience: -5 to 10 years.
Should have good knowledge of handling of smart field instruments like DP transmitters, level transmitters, flow meters, pressure transmitters, Mag flow meters.
Should have good knowledge about interpretation P&D PFD etc.
Familiar to DCS
Proficiency in handling lab Equipments like PH mete, conductivity meter, Bomb calorimeter etc
