About the Organisation
Kampala International University (KIU) is a private, not-for-profit institution based in Uganda. It was established in 2001 and assumed chattered status in 2009.

Job Description
To teach courses in tourism and hospitality or hotel management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, using appropriate methods and materials.
Duties and Responsibilities
To teach courses in tourism and hospitality or hotel management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, using appropriate methods and materials.
To supervise students' projects, dissertations and theses in tourism and hospitality or hotel management fields.
To conduct and publish original research in tourism and hospitality or hotel management disciplines, and to participate in conferences and seminars.
To contribute to the development and review of the curriculum and academic programs in tourism and hospitality or hotel management departments.
To perform administrative tasks such as attending meetings, preparing reports, and liaising with stakeholders in the tourism and hospitality or hotel management sectors.
Qualifications and Competencies
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a Master's Degree.
Must have an established academic and research profile.
Demonstrate experience and capacity to deliver on the expectations of the University.
Must be able to work and fit in the environment of a fast-growing University.
Delivery of research-based projects.
