Key Job Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and issue educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters if necessary.
Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.
Organize supplies and resources for lessons and presentations.
Deliver personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning.
Plan and implement educational activities and events.
Organize the classroom and learning resources to create a positive learning environment
Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports and termly report cards to ensure progress of the learners.
Attend parent-teacher meetings to provide feedback on the students’ progress.
Implement the designated curriculum completely and in due time.
Ensure the safe custody and optimum use of equipment under your care.
Promote the general progress and well-being of students as well as always safeguarding their health and safety.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, attainment and behavior of every student.
Maintain discipline and order among students.
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Carryout any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the head teacher

Teacher Requirements
A bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in the teaching field
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a teacher
Must be registered with the Ministry of Education & Sports
In-depth and practical knowledge of teaching methods, and legal educational practices
UNEB Examiner is preferred.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Well-organized with excellent leadership abilities
Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
Must be computer literacy.
