Job Summary:
This position is responsible for achieving business growth by meeting business targets. This involves managing and developing the Agency force with the aim of ensuring business growth, effective credit control, and loss ratio management through building and maintaining the agency force as per set targets.

How to Apply
Recruitment:
The Agency Manager shall recruit and maintain an Agency force as per agreed parameters.
Ensuring that all Agents are licensed as per IRA licensing guidelines and they all have valid licenses.
TRAINING:
Training, coaching and mentoring the Agency force in order to improve performance and cohesion within the department.
Conduct trainings with support from other departmental heads/ teams
Assist Agents to prospect and advise appropriate insurance coverage on their client’s needs by providing relevant product knowledge.
PROFITABILITY:
Set targets for the team and ensure that these are discussed and agreed upon at the beginning of every financial year.
Monitor the performance of the Agency force business to ensure that it meets or exceeds set goals.
Ensure that all renewals are followed up to meet set renewal target.
Ensure that all premiums are collected in line with the credit control policy;
Developing business plans i.e devising way to reward the best performing agents
Managing the business portfolio through prudent underwriting and loss minimization.
TRACKING:
Building and strengthening business relationships with existing and prospective clients to achieve performance targets (cross – selling)
Complying with statutory, regulatory and internal control processes at the business units including internal and external audit recommendations;
Managing the implementation of internal and external audit recommendations within the agreed timelines;
Exploring opportunities presented by the market and assist in developing innovative products and solutions that meet customer needs/ requirements.
Any other duties assigned on a daily basis.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines
COP
Marketing Professional discipline (added Advantage)
