Job Description
The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of office activities by providing administrative and clerical support. This position includes managing schedules, handling correspondence, organizing meetings, maintaining filing systems, and supporting both staff and management in various operational tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding high standards of confidentiality and professionalism while facilitating communication across departments.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence including emails and phone calls
Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and events
Maintain filing systems, databases, and records for easy retrieval and confidentiality
Support senior staff with administrative tasks such as report preparation, photocopying, and data entry
Monitor office supplies and order replacements when needed
Receive visitors and direct them appropriately
Coordinate internal communications and assist in the preparation of presentations and reports
Ensure compliance with company procedures and administrative policies
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office and Information Management, or a related field
No previous experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
