Role Overview
RDF Uganda is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join its team in Masaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting tasks, including petty cash handling, credit control, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about community development and financial accountability.

How to Apply
Manage and record petty cash transactions in accordance with RDF policies.
Support credit control processes to ensure timely repayment and effective financial management.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial documents and reports.
Handle routine finance-related communication both internally and externally.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records.
Support the finance team in ensuring compliance with internal controls and donor requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience in petty cash management and credit control.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience in the financial services or nonprofit sector is an added advantage.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
