Enabel is the Belgian development agency. It implements the Belgian governmental cooperation. The agency also implements actions for other national and international donors. With its Belgian and international partners Enabel provides solutions to address urgent global challenges: Climate Change, Urbanisation, Human Mobility, Peace and Security, Social and Economic Inequalities and Global Citizenship. With 2.000 staff, Enabel manages about 170 projects in twenty countries, in Belgium, Africa and the Middle East.
You carry out the booking of project transactions in order to ensure reality, reliability and accuracy of financial information.
You prepare payment logs in order to pay the right amount to the right provider in a timely manner
Ensure that the fair treatment of providers and staff members and adequate communication to them in order to inform them about changes, procedures in place and ad hoc replies to their questions

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance and Accounting or full accounting qualification (ACCA or CPA)
Minimum of 2 years proven relevant experience in Administration, Finance, and Accounting
Working experience with the Government of Uganda at central or local levels, a reputable NGO or international development organisation is an advantage
Proficiency in utilisation of MS Office applications accounting software and ERP systems
Proven knowledge of accrual accounting.
Soft skills such as excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team are of great value;
Ability to work in cooperation with team members, independently, and under stressful conditions.
