Job Description
The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the company’s financial health. They will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing reports, assisting in budgeting, and supporting audits. The role requires an individual with good analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid foundation in accounting principles and software.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial documents, records, and reports
Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank statements
Process payments and manage accounts payables and receivables
Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements
Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory payments
Support internal and external audits
Maintain an accurate filing system for financial documents
Assist in budget preparation and expenditure monitoring
Liaise with management to provide financial insights and analysis

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
A Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage)
Experience:
1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in an accounting role
Competencies:
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Good communication and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity and professionalism
