Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for preparing detailed financial reports, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. The role involves working closely with a team of four and reporting directly to the General Manager. The Accountant will also inspect accounting systems for efficiency, reconcile discrepancies, and recommend financial and operational improvements.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
Provide management with insights on asset utilization and financial results.
Inspect accounting books and systems for accuracy and compliance.
Confer with company officials on financial and regulatory matters.
Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and records.
Identify and reconcile discrepancies in financial accounts.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Essential Qualifications:
Post-secondary Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
Strong proficiency in financial analysis and accounting software (ERP).
Excellent judgment, decision-making, coordination, and time management skills.
Knowledge of economics, accounting, administration, and customer service.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA certification is an added advantage.
Additional skills in accounting and finance are a plus.
