Job Description
We are hiring an Accountant.
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, supporting budgeting and reporting processes, and strengthening financial controls across all branches and subsidiaries.
Duty Station: Kampala, supporting all other branches & subsidiaries in & out of Uganda.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Support audits and ensure timely preparation of audit documentation.
- Maintain and manage accounting systems (ERP).
- Provide financial analysis and advisory support to management.
- Ensure strong internal controls across branches and subsidiaries.
