Job Title

AC Technician job at Hariss International Limited

Job Description

Receive, install, inspect, repair air conditioner and maintain all the cooling machines and systems including air conditioners, chillers, cooling towers, coolers, containers and some residential fridges.

Duties and Responsibilities

Identify, Safeguard and maintain all cooling machines and systems in the Factory by making sure they are safe and in a good working condition.
Receive, install, inspect, repair air conditioner and maintain all the cooling machines and systems including air conditioners, chillers, cooling towers, coolers, containers and some residential fridges.
Ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
Perform regular maintenance work on cooling units.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions in AC’s.

Make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.
Install new air-conditioning systems and equipment.
Clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.
Make plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.
Inspect and maintain refrigerators and ice machines, and chilled water supply systems.
Any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Competencies

A minimum of an Ordinary diploma in technical training in HVAC systems or any other relevant discipline.
Working experience maintaining and repairing heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and other related systems such as electrical systems, DX units, heat pumps, and chillers.
Possess certification in refrigerant transition and recovery.
Possess county air conditioning mechanic license or its equivalent
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.

Key Requirements:

At least 2-3 years hands-on in the Food Industry. Beverage manufacturing plant is a distinct advantage.
Familiar with Carbonated Soft Drinks and/or water treatment plant.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
