Job Description
EQUSaT is inviting applications from qualified, competent, and motivated individuals to fill the following positions. Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Faculty of Computing & Informatics
Lecturer – Computer Science (2 Positions)
Qualifications: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science. A PhD is an added advantage.
Experience: At least 2 years of teaching or professional experience in a higher education institution.
Duties:
Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Computer Science.
Participate in curriculum development and review.
Supervise student projects and research.
Engage in scholarly research and innovation.
Support online and blended learning initiatives.
Contribute to departmental administration and academic activities.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Lecturer – Information Technology (2 Positions)
Qualifications: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Information Technology. A PhD is an added advantage.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant teaching or professional experience.
Duties: Same as those listed for Computer Science lecturers.
Head of Department – Computer Science and Information Technology (1 Position)
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. A PhD is an added advantage.
Experience: At least 3 years of teaching experience in a higher education institution.
Duties:
Lead the academic, administrative, and financial operations of the department.
Supervise all departmental staff.
Ensure effective delivery and compliance with curriculum standards.
Promote quality assurance and academic excellence.
Support staff and student development.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by University authorities.
