Job Summary:
SimplePay Capital is excited to announce an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead one of our core branches. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of the branch, including managing daily operations, loan processes, customer service, and profitability. As Branch Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the branch’s growth and success.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly loan disbursement and collection targets, along with other performance metrics aligned with branch goals.
Loan Verification: Conduct comprehensive loan verification procedures, including identity checks, reference calls, credit history assessments, and other necessary validations before loan approval.
Due Diligence: Perform thorough assessments to ensure responsible lending and accurate loan approvals, reducing risk while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Leadership & Team Management: Provide clear leadership and guidance to branch staff, ensuring effective delegation, resolving operational challenges, fostering teamwork, and achieving performance goals.
Fraud Prevention & Risk Management: Proactively identify potential fraud risks, address security concerns, and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the branch’s integrity and financial stability.
Policy Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and internal procedures to maintain operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional service quality, promptly address customer complaints, and implement initiatives to build long-term relationships and customer trust.
Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, local community leaders, and stakeholders to support business growth, enhance client retention, and contribute to the local economy.^ Reporting & Market Insights: Provide timely and accurate reports on branch performance, market trends, customer feedback, loan default rates, and other critical business insights to aid strategic decision-making.
Office Management & Operations: Oversee daily branch operations, manage office supplies and documentation, maintain efficient office management, and create a productive and conducive work environment.
Customer Protection: Implement responsible lending practices, assess loan affordability, maintain high standards of ethical conduct, and ensure customer protection throughout the loan lifecycle.
Financial Management: Manage branch budgets, ensure resource allocation is optimal, track expenses, and monitor the branch’s financial health to achieve profitability.
Training & Staff Development: Offer ongoing training and development opportunities for branch staff, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to maintain operational and service excellence standards.
Branch Performance Review: Regularly evaluate branch performance against KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as necessary to enhance overall performance.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
At least 1 year of experience as a Branch Manager.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
Strong computer proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to relocate if necessary.
Strong integrity and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
