About the Role

The Logistics Assistants will play a key role in supporting the Fund’s transport and logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of staff, assets, and documentation, and maintaining vehicle safety and compliance standards.

How to Apply

  • Transport staff, executives, documents, and company assets as assigned.

  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles.

  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and ensure timely servicing per mileage schedule.

  • Accurately record mileage, fuel refills, and complete vehicle logbooks.

  • Submit requests for vehicle service, repairs, and travel in accordance with procedures.

  • Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety guidelines.

  • Monitor and ensure the security of Fund vehicles and accessories.

  • Account for allocated fuel usage and document all trips responsibly.

  • Support logistics and transport planning and contribute to departmental strategy.

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with maintenance providers, police, URA, and insurance companies.

  • Assist in field rescues, accident response, and salvage operations.

  • Gather and report accurate information in the event of accidents.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Education

  • Uganda Certificate of Education (O’ Level) with at least a pass in English and Mathematics.

  • Valid Driving Permit with classes DM or D1.

  • Certificate of Competence in driving from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Works and Transport.

  • Certificate in Defensive Driving from a recognized institution.


Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a busy corporate organization with a branch network.
