Facilitator – Videography & Photography
Facilitator – Bakery
Facilitator – Art & Crafts
About the Role
HODARI Foundation is seeking three skilled and motivated facilitators to support the DiscoverMe Phase II project by training refugee youth in hands-on, income-generating skills. These roles are ideal for professionals passionate about teaching and community empowerment, who can design and deliver practical, engaging, and transformative training programs.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop a structured, time-bound training curriculum and materials (e.g., 3–6 months).
Conduct interactive, skill-based training sessions in your area of expertise.
Provide personalized guidance and mentorship to trainees throughout the course.
Track learner progress and deliver regular feedback to help them improve.
Collaborate with the Programs Team to ensure training is aligned with project goals.
Support participants in creating small business plans or professional portfolios.
Keep accurate records of attendance and performance.
Submit regular progress updates and training reports to the Programs Manager.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Proven professional experience and technical expertise in one of the following areas:
Videography & Photography
Bakery
Art & Crafts
Prior experience in training, teaching, or mentoring is highly desirable.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
Patient, empathetic, and passionate about youth empowerment.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
Fluency in Swahili, Kinyabwisha, or Kinyarwanda is an added advantage.
Refugees living in Kyaka II and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
