Job Description
The Xclusive Banker will report to the Head High Net Worth and will be responsible for growing the market share and revenue by providing proactive and efficient personal relationship banking services to a portfolio of Xclusive banking clients. The role focuses on maintaining and expanding client relationships, managing credit and operational risks, and ensuring high-quality customer service in accordance with the bank’s procedures and regulatory standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with the Xclusive banking portfolio to drive business growth and achieve relationship management targets.
- Appraise loan applications to ensure they meet set standards and credit requirements, returning those that do not meet specifications for follow-up.
- Initiate credit applications for new and existing clients, completing documentation, financial analysis, and submitting applications to credit for approval within agreed timelines.
- Increase product penetration by reviewing client portfolios, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and recommending suitable products.
- Conduct regular client visits, site visits, and recognition initiatives, maintaining detailed call reports for each interaction.
- Receive and verify client documentation for account opening, facilities, and other banking instructions following prescribed procedures.
- Notify clients timely on loan approvals or declines and provide alternative solutions when applicable.
- Identify potential risks or fraud and implement appropriate remedial processes covering operational and financial aspects.
- Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring that PAR and NPA remain within acceptable limits.
- Manage credit and operational risk in account opening and loan processing to prevent fraud and losses.
- Onboard new clients, provide information on quick banking services, and advise on other service channels.
- Comply with KYC, AML, and suspicious transaction reporting requirements, ensuring all documentation meets local and regulatory standards.
- Acquire new Xclusive relationships, manage and grow the portfolio, and ensure financial targets are met.
