How to Apply
Accounts payable and receivable: Managing incoming payments from patients and outgoing payments to vendors.
Billing and collections: Preparing and issuing invoices to patients. Tracking and following up on overdue payments to support the revenue cycle.
Financial transaction processing: Recording all financial data, such as payments and expenses, into the center’s accounting system.
Reconciliations: Performing daily or monthly reconciliations of bank statements, cash, and credit transactions to ensure records are accurate.
Financial reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, often for management or regulatory purposes.
Payroll assistance: Helping with payroll processing for the health center’s staff.
Audit support: Assisting with internal and external audits by gathering and providing necessary financial documentation.
Compliance: Ensuring all financial transactions and reporting align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant healthcare regulations.
Administrative support: Managing petty cash, maintaining an organized financial filing system, and handling communications with clients and vendors.
Preform any other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration with accounts major, or any other a related course.
Those pursuing ACCA or CPA Accounting Certification have an added advantage.
Experience with computerized ledger systems
More than Year of experience in a busy accounts’ environment.
Experience in using any accounting software is an added advantage.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Must be a resident of Bwerenga Kisubi- Entebbe or surrounding areas.
