Job Title: Head Teacher Primary (2 Jobs)

Duty Station: Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Uganda
Position Summary:
Your roles as a Head teacher will be to monitor the implementation of school programs and activities including general management and administration of the school
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
In charge of overall administration and management of the school.
Plan, organize, direct and co-ordinate the teaching programs and activities of staff and pupils.
Ensure proper planning, budgeting and accountability for the school activities and resources in consultation with the school management committee.
Supervise and appraise all the employees of the school.
Participate in the implementation of the Education Sector reforms related to Primary Education.
Prepare progress and summary reports for presentation and submission to the school management committee and Ministry of Education and Sports, where required:
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education (Primary). Any additional relevant training is an added advantage
A minimum of 2-3 years working experience at the level of Head teacher or deputy in a Primary School.
Must have passed Math and English with at least credit six at O level.
Must be registered with Ministry of Education & Sports
The candidate must exhibit excellent team management skills and able to work in multiethnic environment.
Should be able to listen and respect authority.
Uphold and respect FCA code of conduct, child safeguarding and child protection policies.
