Job Description

The Clinical Officer will provide preventive, curative, and rehabilitative healthcare services. They will conduct physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and offer treatment plans. The officer will also manage patient records, participate in community health programs, and ensure compliance with medical standards and guidelines.

Interested and qualified Ugandans are invited to submit their applications in triplicate, handwritten on Public Service Commission Form 3 (Revised 2008). Applications should be addressed to:

  • A Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health from a recognized institution.

  • Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council.

  • A valid annual practicing license.

  • At least two years of relevant work experience in a recognized healthcare setting.

  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Knowledge of public health practices and community health interventions.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency cases.
