The COO will also lead cross-functional collaboration and innovation to enhance operational efficiency and project success.

How to Apply

Drive sustainable agroforestry practices and initiatives to address poverty and environmental challenges.
Manage day-to-day operations, including field activities and agroforestry project implementation.
Ensure efficiency, scalability, and sustainability from project planning through execution.
Mentor and develop department heads and staff to build a high-performance, collaborative culture.
Implement leadership development programs to enhance team skills and capabilities.
Supervise large-scale projects, ensuring proper resource allocation, budget compliance, and progress tracking
Promote sustainable practices and environmental stewardship throughout operations.
Ensure compliance with environmental, legal, and policy requirements.
Oversee financial health through budgeting, forecasting, and efficient resource management.
Align financial performance with operational objectives while minimizing costs.
Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and strategic risks.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect company assets.
Coordinate with other departments (research, community engagement, advocacy) to implement projects.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
Encourage continuous improvement through innovation and emerging technologies.
Support experimentation and process optimization to enhance performance.
Report operational performance and key metrics to the CEO and board of directors.
Maintain transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
Professional certifications are an added advantage.

Proven track record of managing complex operations and leading large teams.
