The National Council of Sports (NCS) is a government agency under the Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda, mandated to develop, promote, and regulate all forms of sports across the country, with a mission to provide an enabling environment for sporting excellence and talent development at all levels. Since its establishment in 1964, NCS has grown into a respected institution recognized for nurturing elite athletes, supporting national federations, and elevating Uganda’s profile on the international sports stage.
