Exciting Job Opportunity at Uganda Baati for Customer Service Executives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome and assist all showroom visitors.

  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.

  • Offer accurate details on product specifications, pricing, availability, and warranties.

  • Manage the entire sales process from inquiry to invoice.

  • Coordinate logistics to ensure prompt product delivery.

  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.

  • Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and build loyalty.

  • Maintain an updated customer database.

  • Keep the showroom clean, organized, and stocked.

  • Track and report inventory status and sales performance.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and logistics teams.

  • Participate in regular training and team meetings.


What You Need to Qualify:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Customer Service, or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar customer-facing role.

  • Industry knowledge, especially in manufacturing or sales environments.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS systems.

  • Knowledge of local languages like Rutooro, Lusoga, Luganda, or Ateso is a plus.

  • A professional demeanor and positive attitude.



Potential Barriers to Success:

  • Lack of experience in customer service or sales.

  • Language barriers that limit customer engagement.

  • Inability to effectively influence and negotiate with clients.
