Tender Description:
A Government of Uganda Entity invites eligible and qualified developers to submit Expressions of Interest for the design, financing, construction, and delivery of completed residential units on land owned by the Fund.
The selected developers will enter into a Forward Purchase (Offtaker) Agreement, under which the Fund will purchase the completed units, supporting the Fund’s objective to provide quality housing solutions.
Scope of Work:
The successful developer(s) will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of residential units, including site planning, architectural and structural design, financing, construction, and completion of the units in accordance with the Entity specifications and applicable regulatory standards.
This includes ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and sustainability standards, timely completion of construction activities, and handover of fully functional units to the Fund.
The developer will also coordinate with relevant authorities, manage contractors and subcontractors, and provide all necessary documentation, warranties, and as-built drawings upon completion of the project.
