  • Provide care for patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence disorders.

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the needs of these patients and provide education and counseling to them and their families.

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent

  • Certification in wound, ostomy, and continence nursing (WOCN) or eligibility to obtain within one year of hire

  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care

  • Knowledge of current evidence-based practices and standards in wound, ostomy, and continence care

  • Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and interventions for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence issues

  • Ability to educate and support patients and their families on wound, ostomy, and continence care

  • Ability to document and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect for patients and colleagues
