Provide care for patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence disorders.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the needs of these patients and provide education and counseling to them and their families.
Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure optimal outcomes and quality of life for their patients.

Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
Certification in wound, ostomy, and continence nursing (WOCN) or eligibility to obtain within one year of hire
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care
Knowledge of current evidence-based practices and standards in wound, ostomy, and continence care
Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and interventions for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence issues
Ability to educate and support patients and their families on wound, ostomy, and continence care
Ability to document and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect for patients and colleagues
