Job Description
As a Workshop Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring productivity and efficiency in our workshop. You will also ensure that repair and maintenance deadlines and targets are met.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategic planning: Monitor and optimise resource allocation.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures.
- Occupational Health and Safety: Ensure that workplace safety and health policies, procedures, and regulations are followed.
- Strategic workforce planning: Address workshop operational and personnel issues.
- Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assessing tools and technology: Ensure tools and equipment are in order, and the relevant technology is up to date.
- Progress monitoring: Monitor work progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Warranty management: Ensure all warranty claims are submitted in time and follow up on reimbursement.
- Documentation efficiency: Ensure accurate and timely job card write-ups, job completion status, and approvals for workshop activities.
- Productivity and efficiency: Responsible for the efficiency and utilization of technicians.
- Tenders and bids: Responsible for tenders’ coordination.
- Aftersales service sales strategy: Shares weekly workshop sales report with the Aftersales Director.
- Deviation management: Reports any deviations of processes to the After-sales Director.
