Job Description
Lead the Maintenance Team: Oversee daily operations, assign tasks, and ensure efficient repair and maintenance of vehicles (buses, trucks, etc.).
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the Maintenance Team: Oversee daily operations, assign tasks, and ensure efficient repair and maintenance of vehicles (buses, trucks, etc.).
- Schedule Maintenance: Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime.
- Inventory Management: Manage parts inventory, ensure availability, and control costs.
- Quality Control: Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and company policies.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct audits, and promote a safety-first culture.
- Budget Management: Monitor workshop expenses, propose cost-saving measures, and manage resources.
- Team Development: Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians; foster a productive work environment.
- Reporting: Track performance metrics (uptime, repairs, costs), and report to management.
