The successful candidate will operate a water tanker truck for the delivery of water across designated areas within the Moretele Local Municipality. Duties include maintaining accurate logbooks, conducting vehicle inspections, and reporting incidents promptly. The role requires adherence to traffic laws, effective communication with supervisors, and ensuring that all deliveries are performed safely and efficiently.

How to Apply
Safely operate a water tanker truck for water distribution.
Deliver water to designated areas within the municipality.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date trip sheets and logbooks.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical or safety issues before and after trips.
Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and municipal safety standards.
Report incidents, accidents, and mechanical faults promptly.
Compile truck condition reports and submit to management as required.
Stay in contact with supervisors via phone while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of Grade 8 education.
At least 2 years of experience as a heavy-duty driver.
Valid Code 14 driver’s license.
Residency within the Moretele Local Municipality area will be an added advantage.
Competencies:
Strong driving skills with experience in heavy-duty vehicles.
Knowledge of vehicle inspections and basic mechanical awareness.
Ability to follow schedules and complete logbooks accurately.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Reliability, punctuality, and adherence to safety protocols.
