Job Description
Health Promotion International (HPI) is seeking a qualified WASH Officer to oversee and implement Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene initiatives. The role involves technical oversight, community engagement, and the implementation of hygiene promotion strategies to improve public health outcomes.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the implementation of WASH project activities in accordance with organizational objectives.
- Conduct community hygiene education and awareness sessions to promote behavioral change.
- Provide technical supervision for the construction and maintenance of water supply and sanitation facilities.
- Monitor water quality and ensure adherence to national and international standards.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities and community stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports and maintain project documentation.
