The U.S. Mission in Uganda is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Warehouse Worker / Truck Driver.
The work schedule for this position is:
• Full Time, 40 hours per week
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) following receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties:
Position reports to the Non-Expendables Supervisor and operates all warehouse handling equipment/vehicles used in the movement of incoming/outgoing shipments and store supplies. Handling of equipment/vehicles includes but is not limited to heavy and light duty trucks, pallet trucks, forklifts, dollies and trolleys.
Incumbent will be involved in the loading and unloading of the handling equipment/vehicles at the same time, as a member of the warehouse team, perform warehouse duties.

Qualifications and Evaluations
EDUCATION: Completion of Secondary School is required.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A combination of two years’ experience in performing clerical and driving duties is required.
Evaluations: (This may be tested)
LANGUAGE: Level II (Limited Knowledge) reading/writing/speaking of English is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Physically fit and possession of a valid drivers’ license (Class CM, CH, G) appropriate to truck driving and forklift operations is required.
Qualifications:
