Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Inventory Management & Quality Control: Monitor inventory levels, stock aging, FIFO management, batch picking alignment, SLOBs and expiries management.
- Coordination and planning: Implement warehouse capacity planning and space optimization, with daily operations set up review and layout configuration.
- Inventory reconciliations: Reconcile stocks (system Vs physical), document variance explanations, and enforce inventory accuracy.
- Warehouse Safety: Ensure warehouse space meets HSE standards, toolbox talks, hazard identification, and PPE compliance.
- Controls and Compliance: Tracking daily stock movements and timely reconciliation with real-time system postings.
- Warehouse Hygiene: Adherence with all relevant quality standards in line with Food protection and defence.
- Audits: Ownership of audits both internal and external and accountable for action closure.
