Cross Border Emergency Coordinator Job at IOM

Job Description
IOM is seeking a Cross Border Emergency Coordinator to support the coordination of border health mobility response in Uganda.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): consolidate and submit daily KPI reports from IOM supported Points of Entry (PoEs) in the West Nile.
- Conduct regular site assessments and supportive supervision of PoE screening teams and Community-Based Disease Surveillance activities.
- Represent IOM in district taskforce, Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) meetings, and cross-border coordination forums.
- Support and participate in trilateral cross border meetings to harmonize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide on-the-job mentoring for MoH screeners, data clerks, VHTs, and district teams on screening protocols and reporting workflows.
- Liaise with IOM logistics and procurement to identify and resolve operational gaps (equipment, fuel, ambulances).
