Job Description
The role involves capturing and editing photos and videos, coordinating multimedia production, and ensuring coverage of RDB’s events. The officer will define terms of reference for audiovisual service providers, design cluster-based audiovisual production, and ensure professional delivery of visual content across platforms. The officer will also support RDB’s media and communications team in leveraging visual storytelling to enhance visibility, public engagement, and brand positioning both locally and internationally.

How to Apply
Capture and produce photos and videos for RDB.
Edit images and videos for communication and branding purposes.
Ensure full visual coverage of RDB events.
Supervise and coordinate multimedia content production.
Define terms of reference for audiovisual service providers.
Design and implement cluster-based audiovisual productions.
Support RDB’s social media presence through creative visual content.
Uphold high standards of photo/video direction, creativity, and composition.

Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Digital Media, or Creative Design (no prior work experience required).
Strong command of English; proficiency in French and Kinyarwanda is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of design and editing tools.
Demonstrated ability to handle professional video and photo equipment.
Knowledge and experience in factual journalism, film, or television production.
Extensive knowledge of social media networks and their visual requirements.
Strong creative skills with expertise in photography, videography, and editing.
Excellent picture composition and video direction skills.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
