Job Description
The Upstream Logistics Manager will define and manage the logistics strategy for the Tilenga Project, a major onshore oil development in Uganda. The role involves overseeing logistics operations for drilling, construction, and production phases while ensuring strict H3SE compliance and regulatory adherence in a sensitive environmental context.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement H3SE rules and verify integration in all Logistics contracts.
- Ensure compliance with Ugandan laws and government regulations regarding logistics.
- Define, quantify and schedule all logistics needs during the Project Execution Phase.
- Prepare contracts including prequalification, CFT preparation, technical evaluation, and clarification.
- Support the execution of logistics operations related to drilling site preparation, construction and production.
- Prepare and update Logistics budgets, PDCs, and control expenditure.
- Define and establish the logistics operational structure and optimize efficiency.
- Study, produce and introduce operational procedures and control supply planning.
- Negotiate, manage and control execution of contracts and purchases.
- Establish and control the management of stocks and associated tools.
- Ensure smooth transition between Project and production phases for all Logistics issues.
