Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Process, review and approve customer transactions including cash and cheque deposits, withdrawals, inter-account transfers, and currency exchange
- Handle Telegraphic Transfer, Electronic Funds Transfer, RTGS, customer drafts, cheque books, cards, and stop payment instructions
- Manage cash within approved limits, balance cash against daily journals, and perform vault or float custodian duties
- Provide professional and customer-focused service, resolving queries within agreed turnaround times
- Support digital migration by encouraging customers to use online platforms
- Identify opportunities to refer customers for relevant bank products and services
- Ensure compliance with AML, CDD, KYC, customer data protection, and conduct requirements
- Escalate and resolve operational, risk, conduct and compliance matters appropriately
