How to Apply
Safely operate heavy trucks to transport cargo across assigned national and regional routes
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns
Ensure timely deliveries and manage related documentation (delivery notes, proof of delivery, etc.)
Follow all road traffic regulations and company safety protocols
Maintain truck cleanliness and conduct routine maintenance checks
Communicate efficiently with the dispatch team and provide real-time status updates
Assist in loading and unloading cargo as required
Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with clients and partners
Requirements
Valid Ugandan driving license (Class CM or CH highly preferred)
Minimum 2 years experience driving heavy trucks on long-distance routes
Strong understanding of road networks in Uganda and regional transit corridors
Ability to use smartphones and logistics tracking apps
Fluent in English; Kiswahili proficiency is a plus
Physically fit and able to assist with cargo handling
Highly punctual, responsible, and self-disciplined
Capable of performing basic truck troubleshooting
