Job Summary:
Our client, a leading plastics manufacturing company in Uganda, is seeking reliable and experienced Truck Drivers to transport finished plastic products and raw materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a valid driving permit, a clean driving record, and experience in logistics, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG sector.

How to Apply
Safely operate company trucks to transport finished plastic products (packaging materials, containers, household plastics) and raw materials between factories, warehouses, and customer locations.
Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods while adhering to company schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle (checking fuel, oil, brakes, tires, etc.).
Report any mechanical faults or accidents immediately to the logistics supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned truck.
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Verify and submit delivery documents (waybills, logbooks, invoices) accurately.
Assist in loading/unloading goods when required.
Maintain professionalism when interacting with clients, suppliers, and company staff.
Report any delivery discrepancies or customer complaints to management.
Valid Driving License with Classes C1, C1 E, C, CE, D1 and D1 E
Minimum 3 years as a truck driver, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or FMCG.
Clean Driving Record
Ability to handle loading/unloading when necessary.
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and Ugandan road safety laws.
Punctual, honest, and able to work with minimal supervision.
