Pride Microfinance Limited (MDI) is a Microfinance Deposit- taking Institution regulated and supervised by Bank of Uganda (BoU) under the MDI Act, 2003 and MDI Regulations, 2004 with a capital base of Ugx. 174.69 billion as at June 2024and a purpose to transform lives responsibly.

Treasury Officer.
The Treasury Officer will report to the Treasury Manager Fixed Income and ALCO and will be based at Head office. He/ she will be responsible for monitoring the cash position and implement short-term investment strategies to maximize yield as per Pride’s policies.

Maintain and update investment schedule
Carry market research to determine market trends
Monitoring cash and bank balances to ensure sound liquidity Management.
Negotiate for competitive prices for both assets and liabilities to achieve a stable net income.
Ensure compliance to cash management procedures.
Maintain good relationship with customers and other stakeholders.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports to ensure compliance.
Submit bank statements to branches.
Undertake foreign exchange trading for both wholesale and retail clients.
Undertake mobile money /Agency Banking Operations in Treasury.
Carry out any other duties in the Department.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics and any other related field.
At least two years’ experience in a financial institution within the treasury department.
He/she should not be more than 40 years of age.
