Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure timely processing of supplier, statutory, and other payments with relevant documentation (invoices, GRN, LPO, GDN)
- Notify suppliers upon payment authorization and ensure orderly filing of payments
- Prepare daily and monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, Momo, and Airtel money by the 2nd of each month
- Capture and post daily bank charges
- Manage and monitor petty cash floats, requisitions, and conduct periodic and surprise counts
- Prepare loan amortisation schedules, journals, drawdown requests, and repayment requests
- Ensure adherence to loan covenants to mitigate penalty risks
- Prepare weekly and quarterly cashflow forecasts
- Maintain accounting ledgers and provide documentation for audits
- Manage bank relationships and perform month-end reconciliations
