Job Description
MAN Automotive (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Transport Supervisor to manage service providers and oversee import/export shipment processes at their Elandsfontein facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring lead times are met, managing clearing and forwarding agents, and resolving customer queries promptly.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage service providers - clearing and forwarding agents.
- Manage service providers SLA and KPIs'.
- Ensure import shipment lead times are communicated.
- Ensure import shipments are captured by shipping team before arrival at PDC.
- Perform random checks on import shipments on customs duty load.
- Ensure export orders are shipped with correct documentation on a daily basis.
- Update and communicate lead time reports on export and import shipment.
- Attend to customer queries within 24 hours.
- Ensure the shipping team responds and/or resolve customer queries within 24 hours.
