Job Summary
MOGO Uganda is looking for a dynamic and experienced Trainer to join our team. The Trainer will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of our employees. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, skilled at engaging learners, and motivated to drive continuous improvement.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and deliver training programs aligned with organizational goals
Conduct sessions using diverse methods: in-person, virtual, and blended learning
Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and manager consultations
Create and regularly update training materials, manuals, and presentations
Evaluate training effectiveness and make improvements as needed
Provide coaching and support to ensure successful skill application
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy
Support trainees in applying skills to real-world scenarios
Issue certificates upon successful completion of training requirements
Maintain detailed records of attendance, outcomes, success stories, and challenges
Collect and act on trainee feedback to enhance training programs
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Proven experience as a Trainer or in a related role
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or related field
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with training software and tools
Ability to tailor training approaches to diverse learning styles
Certification in Training and Development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is an advantage
